Heritage Festival
Spend the day at the Overland Trail Museum for the annual 4th of July Heritage Festival. Free admission! There are activities for every age from 10 am-3 pm on Wednesday, July 4. Come for the opening flag ceremony at 10 am presented by the Sons of the American Revolution. Don’t miss the heritage crafters, gold panning, Blacksmith Sam and butter making. Free Concert
Stay for the 4th of July Fireworks Jam free concert in the Home Depot lot starting at 5:30 pm. Bring a lawn chair or your dancing shoes and enjoy “Project Foreigner” and “In The Groove.” Free bounce house and other fun activities.
Fireworks Display
At dusk, sit back and enjoy the annual City of Sterling fireworks display from Pioneer Park. Don’t forget to bring your oohs and aahs!
