Summer is here, and we've got an exciting lineup of events to make your days brighter and more enjoyable. From celebrating our heritage and enjoying classic cars to grooving to live music and experiencing the thrill of the rodeo, mark your calendars and get ready for a season of sun and fun!

Heritage Festival at Overland Trail Museum

Kick off your summer festivities with the Heritage Festival at Overland Trail Museum! Join us on July 4th from 10am-3pm for a day filled with history, culture, and community spirit. Best of all, admission is free!

Highlights include:

• Flag presentation: Celebrate our nation's history with a patriotic flag presentation.

• Local music: Enjoy tunes from talented local musicians.

• Cowboy poet: Experience the unique art of cowboy poetry.

• Delicious cobbler: Savor the sweet taste of homemade cobbler.

• Line dancing: Put on your dancing shoes and join in the fun.

• Printing press demonstrations: Learn about the history of printing with live demonstrations.

32nd Annual Rod Run

Rev up your engines for the 32nd Annual Rod Run from July 5-July 7, 2024.! This event promises an epic weekend filled with cars, food, fun, and music. Whether you're a car enthusiast or just looking for a great time, the Rod Run is the place to be. Enjoy delicious food, lively music, and a whole lot of fun!

July Jamz – Live Music Every Friday Night!

July Jamz is back, and we've got an amazing lineup of live music to keep your Friday nights rocking! Join us on the courthouse square in Sterling for free concerts, food vendors, and a beer garden. Here's what we have in store:

• July 5: Angela Perry, a talented singer-songwriter, kicks off July.

• July 12: Catch Spinphony, an incredible mash-up of classical, rock, and pop music.

• July 19: Don't miss Eef and the Blues Express, a returning powerhouse act.

• July 26: Closing out the series is 22-year-old Lincoln native and aspiring country music artist, Ingrid Griffin.

Logan County Fair and Rodeo

Get ready for the Logan County Fair and Rodeo from July 25 - August 4, 2024! This year's fair is packed with thrilling rodeo action to live music performances. Join us for a week of fun, food, and entertainment.

Highlights include:

• Youth rodeo: Cheer on the young rodeo stars of tomorrow.
